It started with a simple question around a fire at Lafayette Campground in the White Mountains of New Hampshire:

 

What are you looking for in a job?

 

It didn't take much thought for me to determine that my current employment was not what I was looking to do long term.  So, I made a quick list of "wants":

​

• I want to enjoy coming to work every day.

• I want to employ and support people who are passionate about what they do.

• I want to create a brand and a product that resonates with a local audience.

• I want to give back to local communities.

 

And most importantly, I wanted to translate my love of beer, brewing, friends and family into a profession. I wanted to operate a brewery...and lucky for me, I have a supportive wife/business partner, Sarah.   After our initial conversations, we decided that bringing on an additional partner made sense, and we knew just the person for the job, Andrea Roberto.  Sarah and Andrea added the importance of having a welcoming environment for everyone who loves beer as much as we do to the mission of Lops Brewing

When Lops Brewing opened on July 27th, 2019 it was a culmination of an 18 month journey, transitioning from concept and planning to final execution.
